Counseling and Therapy Services

Couples Therapy

No marriage or relationship is perfect. Far too many people are looking for the right person instead of trying to be the right person. All healthy relationships are built upon trust, transparency, honesty, communication, commitment, forgiveness, and a daily letting go of past hurt. There needs to be an honest acknowledgment of feelings and behavioral tendencies that have caused the need for counseling. Once those things are truthfully spoken, then healing can occur.

Anxiety Counseling

They’re all kinds of anxiety ranging from social anxiety to specific phobias, separation anxiety. Whatever form of anxiety you have there are people out there that can help. My heartfelt desire is to encourage you to face your anxiety and not give it permission to interfere with your work, relationships or other parts of your life. I always encourage my clients to build their lives on truth. And the truth is the more we run away from our specific anxieties and refuse to face them, the bigger they become.

Addictive Behaviors

Addiction is an awful place to be. Perhaps you’re addicted to drugs, alcohol, sex, power, shopping…the list is endless. Over time our brains can become hijacked. The pleasure seeking center in your brain becomes conditioned to be fed by the specific addiction. That is an incredibly lonely place to be. But the good news is, this is something that can be changed. I’ve worked with many people over the years who, by God’s grace, have over come their addiction, and are living productive lives today. It’s going to take a lot of work, but change is possible.

Testimonials

“My husband and I were very happy using Julius. He was very honest and made you feel comfortable discussing any issues. If it weren't for Julius I'm sure my life would lead to a different path.”

Carmela | Couples Therapy

“I had weekly sessions with Julius for several years. First for a very personal issue, then later for anger management. His compassion, guidance & general concern made it possible for me to become a better man, husband and father. I highly recommend seeking his counsel.”

Ken | Counseling

“Julius has been an invaluable influence to help me stay on the straight and narrow. If not for Pastor Julius, I would be mired in my addiction, maybe even dead or incarcerated. As one of the most intelligent people I have ever met, he has shown me, through Christianity, that sobriety is possible.”

Tony | Addictive Behaviors

“My fiancee and I decided to seek counseling before marriage and have been doing individual and couple sessions for some time now. Julius has been such a beacon of light in our lives. Some of the issues we have been tackling are addictions, anger, and lack of communication. Thanks to Julius, through his guidance and care, we are healing and growing. He really meant the “non-judgmental” part! He creates an environment where you feel safe to speak. I recommend him to everyone!”
